We recognise the courage and determination of children and young people when they reach out to yourtown for support.your opportunityAs the Business Development Consultant, you will be part of a team that provides tailored employment related services to employers with the aim of sourcing employment opportunities for our job seekers.
You will partner with employers to create suitable employment opportunities and place our young job seekers into employment.
Every day will be diverse but in essence your day to day will include:Networking face to face and building rapport with employers to build an employer pipeline.Partner closely with our youth to pinpoint their career aspirations and goals.Provide guidance to the employers on labour market concepts, opportunities and employer incentives that are available.Become acquainted with our caseload of young people to facilitate precise job matching, ensuring sustainable and successful employment outcomes.Foster strong relationships with local employers to establish long term career opportunities for our youth.what we are looking forYou are passionate about what you do.

Your practice is client focused, our young people are at the heart of it and you understand that they are the experts in their own lives.Your practice is client focused, our young people are at the heart of it and you genuinely want to make a difference in their lives.Proven experience in account management, delivering exceptional service through face-to-face interactions, phone communication, and digital platforms.Experience in community engagement, adept at cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders and employers.You are a marketing whiz and are eager to market our services to create employment opportunities for our young people.You love meeting different people and enjoy the fact that this role enables you to be out and about and face to face with employers.
You understand the importance of building rapport face to face with employers so that you can partner with their business and provide solutions.You are acutely business savvy and have a solid understanding of the local labour market coupled with challenges to employment faced by disadvantaged young people.our programTransition to Work (TtW) is the Australian Government's youth specialist employment service that supports young people to develop practical skills to gain employment or connect with education or training.
