Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology) 3D Walkabout is a '3D/XR' creative agency based in Perth.
We offer a range of 3D/XR services to businesses across Australia.
These include VR/AR/MR development, 3D scanning, 360 tours, 3D rendering, 3D modelling, 3D animations & 3D web design and development.
Our mission is to utilise these technologies to fundamentally improve how companies engage with their customers, colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
We have a small core team based in Perth that works on projects directly and manages our remote outsourced teams.
About You 3D Walkabout launched in January 2017 and has grown year on year to the point we are at now, where we're keen to bring onboard our third core member of staff - a 'tech' lead.
This is a great opportunity to forge your own role within a small growing business and to work alongside the Founder/CEO (Tim) and the Creative Director (Jamie).
We're looking for someone that is happy to get stuck into a wide range of projects, figure out the best approach and make it happen.
This may mean doing the coding, UI, project management and QA yourself or it could mean project managing a larger outsourced team.
Basically we need an experienced all rounder, a 'full stack' AR/VR developer.
One day you might be creating a VR application in Unity or Unreal and the next creating a native AR application or Web AR application.
We'll also be looking for you to advise on the best way to get our systems and servers set up to best manage all future projects.
When you're not working directly on client projects as a developer you will also be involved in giving a technical perspective in client quotes and meetings.
This will mostly be via video calls but may also be face to face and involve travel within Australia.
You'll need to get stuck in with what needs to be done when it needs to be done and have the ability to adapt and adjust to the work and projects that come in.
Technical Responsibilities Developing in Unity/Unreal (C# & C++)Developing native AR mobile apps in iOS and Android (React Native, Swift, Xcode, Python, Java, Kotlin)Developing for 3D Web & Web AR apps (Three.js, WebGL, Zappar)Create and manage technical infrastructure for all projects and codeWider Responsibilities Managing outsourced technical teams - developers, UI/UX designers, QA's etcIdentify and proactively manage technical and business decisions, risks, actions and opportunitiesGather requirements through interactions with clientsDrive user training and adoptionHelp customers track and evaluate the efficacy and ROI of AR/VR solutionsLead troubleshooting sessions with customers as neededProvide technical input, solution demonstration and guidance to support sales effortsProvide input to estimation of work efforts and solutioningMaintain an active understanding of relevant hardware and software market leadersEstablish and communicate informed opinions on the role of AR/VR in the EnterprisePreferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related fieldMinimum 5 years industry experience in the software industry as an engineer or developerHands on experience with object-oriented programmingWorking knowledge of AR/VR concepts and solutionsThorough working knowledge of software processes (development, configuration, testing, and deployment)Ability to understand business needs, articulate trade-offs, and discuss solutions with business and development teamsFlawless written and oral communication across business and technical stakeholdersAble to comfortably manage multiple tasks, communicate status, escalate issues and juggle competing prioritiesSelf-starter with a bias toward action and the ability to produce resultsStrong team player with a "can do" attitude, and the flexibility to jump in wherever needed#J-18808-Ljbffr
