This is the perfect time to join our company as we have many exciting projects to roll out across the group.About the roleReporting to the Warehouse Manager, the purpose of this role is to participate in our warehouse operations and activities.Warehouse supervisor responsibilities include storing materials, quality checking, and assuring quality of goods. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and overall customer satisfaction.It is an afternoon shift role working from 4PM – 12AM: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & 8PM - 4AM Sunday.Convenient location with onsite parking available and a short 12 minute walk to Sydney Olympic Park Station.Paid Parental Leave (3 weeks for primary carers, 1 week for secondary carers)Career progression & opportunities for advancementMorco Fresh is an inclusive, team-first company.Order & receive fresh produce at a discounted priceThe list below is not exhaustive, and the duties/responsibilities may vary to meet the overall objectives of the company:Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in picking, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods.Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.Communicate job expectations and coach employees.Maintain items record, document necessary information.Issuing picking slips and handing out orders.Oversee orders being picked and packed.Induct new staff and support with the recruitment and onboarding process.Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.Communicate and cooperate with managers and co-workers.Operate and maintain the warehouse and equipment.Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.The ideal candidate is highly motivated and engaging. You will have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.Proven working experience as a warehouse supervisor.Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.Strong organizational and time management skills.Experience/understanding in managing a team of 15-20 staff.Forklift license (advantageous but non-essential).How to applyIf you like the sound of us and you have the skills, experience, and motivation to succeed in this role, then don't miss this opportunity to become part of the Morco Fresh family.
