We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced C# / .Net Engineer in the context of a high traffic consumer-facing website.
We're looking for someone who is a career coder, both passionate about technology as well as working in a team with high levels of accountability associated with the scope of a full stack role.
You are happiest in a continuous learning environment, with a diverse set of technologies and willing to grow your understanding of the industries in which we operate.
Location is hybrid – a combination of WFH and office attendance with flexibility on the apportionment.
What does the role involve?This is a hands-on coding role in an evolving agile practice working closely with people across the business to define the right solution.Development of new features and components to support the existing comparison engine with exposure to a rich technology stack.Enhance existing technology to be used in other international markets with a particular focus on implementation targeting US / CA markets.Troubleshooting and resolving problems with production sites.Evaluate and fine tune the performance of all aspects of your code.Be well informed of technology trends and be able to recommend new tools that can improve productivity.Being part of an organisation and team that is seeing growing commercial activity as a provider of data analytics as well as building a pragmatic and people-focused approach to AI.Skills and Experience we are looking for:5+ years of C# ASP.NET and .Net Framework commercial experienceStrong SQL coding skills and SQL Server managementStrong proficiency in a professional capacity with GIT, CI / CD (We use TeamCity and Octopus Deploy currently)Familiar with JS Frameworks (We use React)Experience with Azure cloud services, Azure SQL DatabaseExperience with domain models and NHibernate desirablePrior experience with high traffic sitesExperience with .NET Core and development of optimised / responsive sites for future projects is highly desirableExperience with Google Analytics and Data Analytics more generally is desirableProven track record working in cross functional teamsAre an innovative thinker and problem solverIf you are looking to work in a varied and challenging role, in a fun and friendly environment where you can leverage and grow your experience across a range of areas, we would like to speak with you.
