About the Role
Join our Technology Services Division, the heart of digital health innovation.
We're entrusted with the operation and enhancement of a reliable, secure national digital health infrastructure and health support systems.
Your role will be pivotal in transforming healthcare delivery.
You'll contribute to the seamless operation of health support systems that are efficient and safeguarded with the highest standards of security.
The Cyber Security Analyst is accountable under general direction to undertake moderately complex tasks that provide security operations support across the Agency, including identification, protection, detection, response and recovery from cyber security events.
You will apply well-developed data analytical skills to extract meaning from application and system logs; monitoring, analysing and contributing to the response of security events and threats; providing support to ensure the Agency's products, systems and services manage security risks appropriately.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing competing requests, demands and priorities; monitoring and identifying emerging and potential security risks; providing timely and relevant details of potential security incidents and risks to supervising security analysts as they are discovered.
What You'll Bring
• Provide specialist, technical and administrative support for the Agency's Cyber Security functions; applying practical and procedural knowledge and understanding of Australian Government security standards including:
• Attorney General's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
• Australian Signal's Directorate Information Security Manual (ISM)
• Agency ICT security plans, policies and procedures
• Tertiary qualifications in ICT / Cyber security.
• Whilst not essential, professional certifications from ISACA, (ISC)2, SANS or other related certification are highly desirable.
Eligibility
• Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
• Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Neg Vet 1 security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.

Salary: This role offers between $78,723 - $83,181 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
