Over this time, the Ports and Maritime team has developed a keen understanding of the types of solutions that meet the demands of users and key stakeholders.
We have extensive experience working in the marine environment and fully understand the challenges faced when constructing and maintaining maritime infrastructure.
Our multidisciplinary teams deliver integrated solutions to ports and maritime projects, drawing upon experience from projects both internationally and across Australia.
Services include all stages of a project - from early planning, studies, and concept work, through to detailed design and construction assistance and management.
The opportunity
Our Ports and Maritime team works on a variety of maritime infrastructure projects across the public, private, and defence sectors.
With strong growth across all sectors, we are looking for a Maritime Engineer to join our team in Brisbane.
Working on a wide variety of port and coastal engineering projects across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, you'll be part of a team of highly skilled professionals who will help you advance your technical, client management, and job management skills.
This is a varied role that includes the design and delivery of ports and coastal projects with support from our technical specialists, as well as client liaison and design management.

About you
You will have a Civil engineering degree and be, or be near to becoming, a Chartered Engineer (CPEng or equivalent).
Building on your experience in port/marine infrastructure projects in a consulting environment, you are self-motivated, strive for technical excellence, and exceed client expectations.
You are passionate about developing and motivating others while ensuring that the team works collaboratively to meet project deliverables.
A detailed knowledge of the Australian and local codes and technical standards applicable to the design of marine structures will be preferred, and you will also be familiar with international codes and standards applicable to the maritime business (i.e., IBC, British Standards, PIANC, OCIMF, USACE).
