We have a significant opportunity to transform our business, optimise how we operate our assets, simplify or enhance processes, get more out of our capital, and fully leverage the operating model. Ultimately increasing tonnes and reducing costs without compromising our focus on safety. There is a large scope of work in the pipeline to set our business up for continued success and we are looking for people to join the productivity team and be a part of making this happen.We are currently seeking a dynamic Principal Project Lead - Roy Hill Operating System to spearhead the implementation of our Roy Hill Operating System. Partnering with business leaders, you will craft a comprehensive rollout plan and ensure its seamless execution. Reporting to the Manager Productivity, this role demands exceptional project and program management skills, coupled with the ability to coach and guide business leaders to success.The position will be offered on a two-year fixed term contract basis. If you are ready to take on a pivotal role and are passionate about driving innovation and excellence, we invite you to join our team and make a significant impact at Roy Hill.DutiesDevelop and design a comprehensive implementation plan for the operating system rolloutOversee and manage the execution of the implementation plan, ensuring timely and successful deliveryCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of the new operating systemMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategiesCreate and update documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for the operating systemProvide coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and performancePrepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholdersPromote continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and refining the implementation processSkills and ExperienceExtensive project/program management experience with experience in Lean, productivity, or improvement methodologiesTertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or a related field, along with project management certificationExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to positively influence all levels within the businessProven ability to coach and mentor leaders effectivelySkilled in managing complexity and driving change through innovation and continuous improvement in a dynamic business environmentHow to applyClick APPLY to submit your application.To be eligible to apply for this role you must be legally permitted to work permanently in Australia.Please note that unsolicited applications from recruitment agencies will not be accepted.
