Position Summary: My client is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant to support the sales team by providing pre-sales technical expertise.
This role involves working directly with customers to understand their goals and challenges, and positioning the solution as the best fit.
As a Senior Solution Consultant, you'll use your in-depth product knowledge to conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and technical discussions.
You'll play a key role in managing the technical aspects of complex sales cycles and ensuring successful customer engagements.
Key Responsibilities: Qualify customer requirements and demonstrate how our solution meets their needs Lead business and technical discovery sessions to uncover customer goals and pain points Position and define the best solution to address customer challenges Collaborate with sales and technical teams to drive complex sales opportunities Present our technology, security features, and roadmap to customers Respond to technical inquiries, RFIs, RFPs, and diligence questions from prospects Work with Account Executives to build strategies for engaging Fortune 500 customers Manage the success of customer trials and pilots, ensuring goals and criteria are met Educate and mentor partners to ensure successful product positioning and usage Deliver presentations and demonstrations, including custom solution architecture Represent the company at trade and marketing events in the APAC region Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field 10+ years of experience as a Solution Consultant or Sales Engineer in B2B SaaS Strong background in Data (Databases, RDBMS, ETL, Data Governance, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud data technologies such as Snowflake and Databricks Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational/dimensional databases Experience in selling Analytics or Business Intelligence solutions Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently, innovate, and manage technical wins A self-driven, results-oriented individual with strong execution focus Nice to Have: Experience with scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, or R SQL development experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) Knowledge of business process automation or workflow solutions Solution Selling certifications (e.g., Force Management, Holden) Experience with software development and REST API frameworks Public speaking experience, including at marketing events Apply now or call Luther Borgas on 03 9236 7755 or by email at ******
