Whether onshore or offshore – we empower our team to build an exceptional career amongst our industry's top marine professionals and technical experts.By joining Team MMA, you can expect:Global collaboration opportunitiesTo work on industry-shaping projectsFlexible career developmentA strong company cultureThe OpportunityMMA Offshore has an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Services division, reporting to the Business Systems Manager.To bridge the gap between business needs and enterprise IT solutions, this role works closely with project teams and cross-functional user groups to translate business requirements into technical specifications and support the successful delivery of technology solutions.The role is an initial 12-month fixed-term full-time position based in our Perth CBD office, Western Australia, with hybrid work from home arrangements.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document business and functional requirements.Analyse business processes, workflows, and user needs to identify opportunities for improvement.Define and prioritise requirements based on business value and feasibility.Create clear and detailed requirement documents, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and mock-ups.Ensure that requirements are well-documented, understood, and approved by stakeholders.Translate business requirements into functional system specifications.Review and validate technical solutions to ensure they meet business needs and requirements.Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of project goals.Serve as a liaison between business users, IS development teams, vendors/partners.Assist in developing test scenarios, participate in testing efforts and document test results.Assess the impact of proposed changes on business processes and stakeholders.Develop change management strategies to ease transitions resulting from IT projects.Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions, and create reports and dashboards.Ensure that enterprise solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards, and that data is stored, presented, and handled securely in line with the company's ISMS and IBMS governance requirements.Work within established project management standards, methodologies, and best practices in a consistent manner.Manage the implementation of enterprise systems projects, including planning, scoping, scheduling, and overseeing the entire lifecycle of the project to ensure timely and successful delivery.Essential Experience:Knowledge of IFS ERP and Integration platforms/logic (ie: Boomi IPAAS) is highly desirableKnowledge of best practices in data integration and automationAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills to understand complex business processes and propose effective solutionsUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or WaterfallKnowledge of database concepts, SQL queries, and data analysis toolsFamiliarity with system design principles and technical architecture diagramsBasic project management skills/experienceExcellent communication skillsHow to applyAt MMA Offshore, we strive to foster a diverse and inclusive environment that empowers all employees to thrive and achieve their full potential.
