Please note: this role requires Security Guards/Security Officers who have a valid NSW 1A Security Licence and have held the licence for a minimum of 12 months. You will be doing something different day to day and will focus on providing excellent customer service, patrolling and securing facilities and assets, maintaining public safety and monitoring regulations.
Responsibilities and duties: Provide visitor customer service, direction, and informationProtect physical assets, which includes regular pedestrian and vehicle patrolsMonitor and guide the behaviour of people in placesObserve facilities to reduce risk and maintain public safetyRespond to incidents as first responderPrepare general security records and reportsProvide facility access controlEssential Criteria: Security License (NSW 1A)Full NSW Drivers LicenceFirst Aid and CPR (current)Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (current)SEINS (or willing to obtain)Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Plan certificates/cards (or willing to obtain)White Card (or willing to obtain)Fire Warden (or willing to obtain)Customer service experienceSuperior communication skills (both written and verbal)Exceptional personal presentationReliability and punctualityAbility to work 24/7 rotating rosterWorking With Children Check.*ACES can assist suitable candidates in obtaining the necessary qualifications via our internal RTO.
