We have a great team of vets and nurses and a great client base.
We aim to provide a high standard of medical and surgical knowledge and treatment to our patients in a friendly, compassionate hospital environment.
Fur Life Vet Bunbury consists of our companion animal hospital and equine hospital.
Our companion animal hospital in Bunbury is a large purpose-built veterinary hospital with all the expected modern equipment including DR radiography, in-house laboratory, im3 dental gear and x-ray, endoscopes, ultrasound and orthopaedic equipment.
We also have a nearby branch clinic in Dalyellup.
Bunbury is a large regional coastal city without the Perth hustle and bustle but only 2 hours away from all the capital city services.
We have fantastic schools to choose from, good retail, entertainment, and sporting facilities.
For those who appreciate wine and gourmet produce, we are within easy reach of the Margaret River region.
About the Position:Exciting opportunity for a vet looking to move up into a clinic leadership role.
Be part of a large, thriving regional clinic with an experienced team.
As clinical lead you will work closely with your Clinic Coordinator and the Business Team in the day-to-day running of the clinic, and you will be a member of the management team responsible for the professional management of all clinical operations.
Clinical operations include managing, training and supervising veterinary associates, graduates and nursing staff, as well as being hands-on in the delivery of veterinary services to patients and clients according to Apiam's high standards of care.
We are looking for a small animal veterinarian with at least 5 years' experience in a companion animal clinic.An interest in improving orthopaedic surgical skills under the tuition of an experienced vet is offered.Full time position with a 4-day work week.No After Hours.A strong support team of vets, nurses and receptionists working across our main hospital and smaller branch clinic.Large purpose-built hospital with all the expected modern equipment including DR radiography, in-house laboratory, im3 dental gear and x-ray, endoscopes, ultrasound and orthopaedic equipment.Our vets have special interests in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, avian medicine, alternate therapies and rehab therapy.
We cover most work in clinic but have the option of referral to Perth if required.Be supported in your progression with our Leadership Development Program and the strong supportive network of peers from other industry leading clinics in Apiam.Assist in mentoring your new and recent graduates with our graduate development program.About You:We are looking for a vet who is ready for the next stage in their career and is ready to lead and mentor their team with the assistance of an industry leading organisation.
Our ideal candidate will want to work in a hands-on clinic to get in and hone their skills.
They will want to focus on furthering their vet career by taking the initiative in learning from our experienced team, Apiam's opportunities for development and the large and varied caseload.
