NAB Ventures is the investment fund established in late 2015 to further enhance NAB's innovation capabilities.
NAB Ventures is the venture capital arm of the National Australia Bank, a global initiative supporting entrepreneurs in Australia and offshore in their quest to build leading technology companies.
We invest in enterprises that can leverage the bank's expertise, assets and market position to drive growth in portfolio companies.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the startup ecosystem and looking to build a career in VC investing.
NAB is investing in positive change.You're encouraged to grow your skills and capability to maximise your value.With the appropriate support, there's opportunity to work on complex transactions and solve interesting problems.In this role, you will: Identify attractive investment opportunities.Initiate and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs.Conduct market product and financial due diligence.Perform financial analysis and returns modelling.Participate in the deal closing process.Interact with other venture investors, advisors, and colleagues at NAB.Develop investment insights into areas of interest to the fund.Support existing portfolio companies.Collaborate with the team in all areas, with a particular emphasis on providing financial analysis and due diligence support related to closing investment opportunities.Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Build relationships with business leaders and understand industry, market & competitor trends.What you'll bring: Prior work experience ideally at a venture capital fund, investment bank or consulting firm.
Those with operating experience in business development, sales, product management or financial analyst roles will also be considered.Excellent quantitative analysis and financial modelling skills.Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills with a proven track record of engaging and collaborating with the team, wider bank stakeholders and business sponsors.Ability to think on your feet and communicate effectively across business streams (both verbally and in writing).Demonstrable ability to build financial models and perform quantitative analysis necessary to assess unit economics and financial soundness.An established industry network within the Melbourne/Sydney venture capital and entrepreneurial community.Relevant tertiary qualifications, for example Business, Economics or Engineering.Passion to work within a highly energetic and dynamic team.By joining NAB, you are committing to putting our customers' needs first every time.
