About your opportunity:
Fixed Term Temporary part-time / 48 hours per fortnight / ASAP up to 04.05.2025.
The Enrolled Nurse is an associate to the registered nurse in providing patient/client-centred nursing care under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with the Practice Standards as identified by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Medical Ward 1 is a 29-bed acute medical ward with specialties of Nephrology (Renal), Respiratory and Gastroenterology and is one of five medical wards that fall within the remit of Medical Services Group (MSG).
Generous remuneration package value up to $4553.00 p.m. comprising:
Salary range of $35.92 to $38.12 p.h.
(Nurse Grade 3)Annual leave with 17.5% loading12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.Other employment benefits may include: professional development, salary sacrificing options, shift and locality allowances, employee wellness and assistance programs, and access to corporate discounts.Requirements: Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.Highly Desirable: Evidence of completion of modules related to medication administration and peripheral intravenous therapy.Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.What we are looking for: Contribute to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred nursing care under the delegation of the registered nurse/midwife.Work as an effective member within a multidisciplinary team.Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families.Use or learn to use information systems appropriate to the position.Own ongoing professional development.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.
