Centre Director - Insight Early LearningChildcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training)Full timeInsight Early Learning Port Coogee is looking for an innovative Centre Director who wants to make a difference and support excellence in Early Childhood Education We are looking for a leader who will actively work towards Insight's vision with the team. If you have the enthusiasm, ambition, and are ready to make a difference, apply now and join our amazing teamIn this role, you will be responsible for:Overall management and smooth operation of the service.Taking a lead in the engagement, onboarding and induction of new team members.Maintaining administrative procedures including attendance records, purchasing equipment and resources.Developing and implementing high quality parent/family communications.Supporting the innovative educational program development involving observation, planning and implementing learning experiences to promote children's development, evaluating, and keeping appropriate records.Working closely with the Assistant Director and Ed Leader to supervise and support duties for educators and oversee the delivery of the educational program.Working closely with the Insight EL Leadership Team to maintain the centre's Quality Improvement Plan.Proactively setting high standards for staff and Centre performance by nurturing staff morale and promoting positive behaviours.Driving a positive and respected working environment.What you will bring:Previous experience in a management capacity within the Child Care sector.Demonstrated experience in reaching targets and KPIs whilst adhering to company policies and procedures.Ability to make changes in operations to improve performance and deliver timely results within allocated budgets.Somebody who loves celebrating - occasions, achievements, and life - there's so much fun to be had celebrating with childrenA positive and professional demeanor with the ability to mentor and coach your team to excellence.Strong commitment to quality education and care for the children, families, and the team.A great communicator (verbal and written) who wants to make positive relationships with the families, the team and the community.A willingness to go beyond the call of duty and the ability to use initiative to continuously improve.Experience using Qikkids software, Xplor, and Humanforce is advantageous but not essential.Qualifications:A Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as approved by ACECQA); or a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).A demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.Current & approved First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Certificates.A current Working with Children Check.Completion of Child Protection Training that is current and valid.Experience as a Nominated Supervisor and Director.Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).What's on offer:Staff discount - conditions apply.EAP program.17.5% annual leave loading.Uniforms.Workplace celebrations.Anniversary day off.Above Award Salary package for a candidate with experience in the role.You will be supported in your leadership journey with realistic budgets and training opportunities.In return for your passion and commitment, you will be rewarded with an innovative and supportive working environment, be involved in all aspects of the centre and receive guidance and coaching from leading early childhood experts.How to apply:If our philosophy resonates with you and you are looking for somewhere to make a difference, then hit the apply button today and tell us how YOU personally can contribute to building our vision of excellence for Insight Early Learning.For more information, please visit the service website:Your application will include the following questions:Do you have professional child care experience?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a centre director?Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?Have you completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care?Have you completed a Bachelor of Education - Early Childhood?
