Enjoy working with numbers and making a difference in the Tasmanian community?Lady Gowrie Tasmania is seeking a passionate Finance Officer to work at our Head Office in South Hobart.Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Manager, this position will perform a range of activities related to financial accounting and corporate services.Lady Gowrie Tasmania is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing Education and Care to children from birth to 12 years of age.The rolePart-time 4 days a weekLocated at our Head Office in South HobartWhat will you receive?Increase take-home pay through Salary Packaging up to $18,55015% fee discount for team members' children to attend our services.Modern open plan office located in South Hobart with street parking nearbyThe role you'll playAccounts payableManage new supplier onboarding processAdministration of SAP Concur platformMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial recordsMonitor adherence with financial delegation and credit card policyRespond to supplier and internal enquiries in a timely and proficient mannerReconciliation of supplier accounts and statementsMonitor supplier credit balances and provide support on purchase ordering processOther ad hoc tasks as required in a small teamSkills and experienceCertificate III, or above, in Finance (or equivalent)3+ years' experience in a similar finance roleAbility to prioritise and manage expectationsAbility to work independently and as part of a cohesive teamHigh level analytical skills and ability to diagnose and problem solvePractical experience with ERP System - Microsoft Business Central (desirable)Practical experience with CCMS System – QikKids or similar (desirable)Tasmanian Registration of Working with Vulnerable PeopleRecent Police CheckIf this sounds like the role for you, apply now with your Cover Letter and CV.We will be reviewing applications as they are received.
