A not-for-profit disability support provider that specializes in working with people with frequent and complex support needs, including 24/7 assistance.
We build teams around every client, depending on each person's needs and preferences.
We partner with people with any type of disability who want to live independently in the community (and we love to make that happen).
That's why our assistants are so important.
Our clients may have physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, intellectual disabilities, or autism.
We're honored that many of our clients rely solely on InLife for their essential support needs.
Nobody else.
Just us.
Our teams are based in Melbourne, Geelong, and regional Victoria, including Benalla, Wangaratta, Stawell, and Bendigo.
To do a great job, you'll need: Good judgment and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to our valuesExperience in manual handlingExperience in personal care (showering and dressing) and assistance with domestic dutiesFull driver's license and be willing and comfortable with providing transport in your own vehicle sometimes (we reimburse you for costs)Great patience and a willingness to put in the time and energy to build rapport with your clientExperience in mental health and behaviors of concern would be an advantage but not essentialEnthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great livesCommitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals.
For example, supporting our clients to complete a regular physiotherapy programWillingness to work varied shifts with varied hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends together with some short shifts, sleepovers, and active night shifts.
We also need you to be able to commit to ongoing shifts, based on your availability.Please note - when you apply you will receive an email asking you for some further details - please look out for it
As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
