What are you going to do:You will oversee the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of electrical works associated with the Decarbonisation project. With your extensive knowledge of construction practices on mine sites, you will play a key role in supporting contractors and ensuring projects meet both safety and performance standards, aligned with the company's strategic objectives. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to build strong relationships and drive the successful delivery of key responsibilities, including:Oversee the management of multiple contractors and site projectsReview and approve Contractor Inspection and Test SheetsConduct punch list walkdowns and manage isolation requirementsInterpret and review project drawingsLiaise with Superintendents, site teams, contractors, and stakeholders on relevant mattersCollaborate with commissioning teams for handovers and SIMOPSLead field leadership activities and ensure Business Management System (BMS) obligations are metBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policiesParticipate in training and safety initiatives and adhere to safety directives and work instructionsImmediately report incidents or potential hazards and correctly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Uphold company values and code of conduct at all timesSupport workforce development through coaching, mentoring, and structured development plansFoster a collaborative team environment that encourages diverse ideas and surpasses business objectivesAct with integrity, ensuring all activities are safe and compliant while holding others accountablePromptly identify and manage workplace incidentsIntroduction:Would you like to play a pivotal role in the future of sustainable mining? We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to join a leading Decarbonisation project team based across Pilbara operations on a 2/1 roster. This is a 12-month contract role and is part of a major initiative to decarbonise mining, port, rail, Non-process Infrastructure (NPI), and mobile fleet operations in the Pilbara, with the goal of achieving real zero emissions by 2030.Essential skills and knowledge:WA A Grade Electrical licenceHigh Voltage Switching certificateCurrent CPR/ LVR and First Aid certificateValid Driver's Licence (Minimum C Class)Certificate IV in InstrumentationOver 10 years post trade experience and a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in miningExperience in Fibre and communications networks and completions management systemsExcellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster strong relationshipsExperience in High Voltage distribution networks overhead and undergroundStrong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations and codes of practice associated with HS&E construction, inspection, testing and commissioningFull Australian Working RightsDemonstrated commitment to safety and zero harmStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesBenefits:Supportive workplace culture that values your growth and success.Camp facilities include a gym, and a fantastic wet mess, offering a comfortable experience.Rolling roster, providing a stable and predictable work schedule.Personalised guidance throughout the recruitment process.Salary sacrificing Novated Leasing programs.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Corporate discounts.
