General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) Full time Join a leading industrial services company providing innovative and environmentally responsible industrial solutions/services across Australia.
With over two decades of experience in the industry, this organisation is committed to delivering safe and compliant industrial services, with operations extending across Australia.
As the General Manager for Queensland, you will oversee daily operations while driving business growth, profitability, and efficiency across the region.
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a high-performing team and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and improve day-to-day operational performance, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and fostering partnerships.
Manage financial performance, including budget oversight and Profit & Loss responsibility.
Lead, inspire, and mentor the Queensland team to ensure their success and professional development.
Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and government bodies.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
You will have a background in industrial services with demonstrated leadership experience.
You are highly motivated with excellent communication skills, and you have a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
Experience in growth businesses, particularly in private equity-backed environments, will be advantageous.
Additionally, experience in building new facilities (construction projects) will be highly regarded.
