South Bank, Brisbane location Produce classic and jazz music for the ABC Salary $88K to $105K The Role
ABC Classic and Jazz are seeking a sound engineer to produce content for broadcast and online delivery, including radio broadcasts of concerts, studio recordings and specialist online content.

Working out of the Brisbane office, this is a full-time, permanent role.

The Job
Produce studio and live concert recordings, live broadcasts and other program segments, primarily for ABC Classic, ABC Jazz.
Support the broader Music Networks team at ABC with operational and technical requirements for studios and systems, OB's and associated online content.
Maintain and build knowledge of the Australian music community and audience needs to produce content.
About You
You are passionate about classical and jazz music and have a comprehensive working knowledge and experience of sound recording principles and techniques in digital audio recording, mixing and editing systems.

You'll also have:
Knowledge of classical music repertoire, performers and trends locally and internationally and an ability to interpret an orchestral score.
An understanding of radio production techniques, broadcast studio operation, live broadcasts and online content creation with an awareness of new developments in these areas.
Proven ability to work in a team environment.
