Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 3,000 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.
THE ROLE Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our Pre-Contracts team.
This full-time permanent position will be located at our Head Office and is responsible for:
Developing estimates and quotes ensuring they are accurate, complete and on time Producing fixed lump sum pricing following due process of formal review approval prior to submission Collating accurate electrical material take-offs with the ability to evaluate, identify scope anomalies and complexities through simple and complex drawings Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and undertaking evaluations for suitability Working closely with Technical Leads to compile the construction methodologies, construction schedules and tender deliverable documentation Attend occasional site inspections as required and participate in meetings ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Electrical site experience in mining is highly desirable Understanding of electrical and instrumentation construction to allow building of first principle and norms-based estimates Experience working for a project delivery contractor on mining and resources projects Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Well-developed problem solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite of applications and/or use of previous estimating software packages (preferred but not essential) Attention to detail and understanding of project/execution requirements IN RETURN You will be joining an existing team who will provide you with the onboarding and support to create a successful Linkforce career.
