The Role Come join our team in this newly created role as a Bid Advisor. In this varied role, you will be an integral part of the team by supporting the creation and production of sophisticated and winning proposals, tenders, and other submissions of work. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our Perth CBD office.
What to expect day to day: Advising and co-ordinating the proposal submission processes, ensuring it aligns with BG&E's strategy and business development processes.Organising and facilitating proposal meetings with key internal and external stakeholders.Preparing tenders, bids, and proposals for clients, including identifying response requirements, completing associated schedules, co-ordinating input from the relevant disciplines, collating and tailoring CVs, and sourcing relevant project examples.Updating proposal content on BG&E's Knowledge Management (KM) systems, including project precis and CVs.Driving the project data collection process that will provide content for precis and future bids.About you Degree or equivalent qualification in communications, journalism, or business (although not essential).5-10 years of demonstrated experience as a bid coordinator or in a similar role within a professional services environment (within engineering consultancy or contractor would be a plus).Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Organised and meticulous with an ability to remain calm under pressure.Enjoys working collaboratively to deliver projects with peers, clients, and other external stakeholders.Analytical thinker with exceptional writing skills and the ability to distil complex concepts into engaging, accessible narratives.Exceptional attention to detail, specifically in relation to copywriting, editing and proofing, and bid preparation.Life at BG&E Competitive remuneration with profit share.Flexible working arrangements.Health and wellbeing support via internal initiatives, and an external EAP.Learning and development initiatives.Diversity and Inclusion Equality is part of BG&E's DNA – it begins with our values and continues through our culture – and is fostered throughout our workplaces.
