Procurement Category Manager

Now, we're inviting you to be part of our exciting journey of growth. Step into a role where you'll manage an Ingredients portfolio to generate best sustainable value for the business through a strategic procurement approach consistent with Lion values and business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement a Procurement strategy for the Ingredients category, considering both short- and long-term impacts.
Drive value creation for the business, ensuring supply continuity while supporting long-term sustainability.
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to enhance business partnering and supplier connectivity.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Ingredients category.
Manage an assigned portfolio of categories, addressing projects and issues in consultation with key stakeholders.
Oversee the grain and yeast category spending, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
What kind of experience and knowledge are we looking for?
At least 5 years of procurement experience, with exposure to packaging preferred.
In-depth understanding of supply chain mechanics, as well as how manufacturing and design impact commercial outcomes.
Solid background in strategic sourcing, contract development, supplier management, and procurement reporting.
