Join Akaysha Energy today.Location:Melbourne, Cremorne or Sydney, CBD.We're open to a hybrid working style; spend time in the office and at home.Reporting to:Treasury Manager, Finance and InvestmentsThe role:As a key team member of Akaysha's Finance & Investments pillar, this role offers an opportunity to work on the cutting edge of the energy transition, supporting capital allocation and financial management of Akaysha and its investments. You'll have significant autonomy to help establish a first-class treasury operations and reporting function, growing with the team as the business builds out its sizeable portfolio of BESS opportunities in Australia, Japan, USA and other markets.It's an opportunity to make immediate impact in growing the Treasury function from its early stages of inception.Key responsibilities will include:Work closely with FP&A and Delivery teams to maintain liquidity forecasts for projects and the group.Assist with capital raising execution and manage capital drawdowns (debt and equity).Preparation of compliance certificates, DSCR calculations, and distributions.Manage reporting obligations under financing documents and in line with board/shareholder requirements.Implement and maintain best-practice treasury-related controls with the help of the TMS.Assist to prepare guidelines and procedures to support Treasury Policy.What you'll bring:2-3 years of accounting and/or finance experience with experience working in treasury or banking preferred.Experience with using and maintaining a Treasury Management System (TMS).Prior experience working in corporate treasury (we'd also consider banking).Well-developed analytical, problem solving and numeracy skills.High attention to detail.Willingness to learn, adapt and develop in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience with typical funding and tax structures, experience in renewables (or adjacent industries), and/or experience with project financings - whilst not imperative, would be considered highly advantageous.Please be aware you must be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency status or have existing AU working rights to apply for this role.
