Lifestyle Support Assistant / Personal Care Worker Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)

We have over 10 years' experience as an approved provider in Home Care, Veteran's Community Nursing (DVA), and Disability Support (NDIS) specializing in older clients.

While no two days are the same, some of the key factors in your workday may include:
Personal Care: showering, dressing, medication, continence careDomestic Assistance: meal preparation, laundry, light household cleaningSocial Support / Transportation: traveling to medical appointments, community access, providing companionshipAssisting with aids: frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids, etc.Monitoring the overall wellbeing of clients, recognizing and reporting changes with a client appropriatelyWhy Envigor? We believe that every great Care Manager has been a great Support Worker.What We Need From You A passion for caring and supporting people to live their best livesAlways respectful and polite while upholding professional boundaries of being friendly and not friendsCurrent driver's license and your own insured vehicle – travel is a part of the roleCompleted a Certificate III in Aged, Community, or Disability or are willing to obtainCovid-19 vaccinatedCurrent NDIS Worker Screening / Yellow Card – or –Current National Police Check and be willing to obtain NDIS Worker ScreeningCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificateNDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of CompletionLastly, you have the right attitude, and you take each day as it comes, as some clients can be challenging, but you don't take it personally.
Delays in your day can make you feel flustered, but you know to shake it off before you greet the next client.
