The RoleAn extraordinary opportunity awaits the right candidate: the chance to become an invaluable member of the Unicare team in Bentley, WA as Head of Operations. As part of this role, you will ensure the seamless alignment of all operational functions to surpass customer expectations. You will have the privilege of identifying and implementing the most effective strategies for optimizing warehouse, inventory, and purchasing operations. If you have a caring nature, a hands-on approach and possess exceptional leadership and management skills, this position was tailor-made for you.
Key responsibilities include: Working closely and strategically with the leadership team to drive a continuous improvement agenda by taking a leadership role in the development of operationsOversee the day to day activity in purchasing, inventory and warehousing operationsProvide support, guidance, and direction to the team to ensure the daily work tasks are performed within operational guidelines and in a safe and efficient mannerEvaluate and improve operational procedures to align with organisational objectivesEvaluate overall performance through data analysis and metrics interpretationOversee hiring and ongoing development of all department personnelMaintain and drive a culture of safety awareness and complianceEffective communication with team members, customers, and other stakeholdersEnsure warehouses and storage areas are maintained and in excellent condition What we are looking for: The Head of Operations will have the skills and desire to take Unicare's operations to a new level and have the drive to excel in periods of growth.
