A boutique accounting firm based in Burswood, seeking a qualified tax/business services Senior Accountant with a minimum of 4+ years experience in public practice, a strong work ethic, and the ability to see the job through to completion.

Ideally, you will have the following experience and characteristics:
4+ years' experience in a similar role Leadership qualities A good team spirit and empathy towards others Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepare, or assist in preparing, tax returns for high net worth individuals and small to medium businesses, ensuring compliance with all tax requirements; Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards; Oversee the preparation of ASIC forms and all other company secretarial requirements, as necessary; Apply interviewing skills to obtain initial information from clients; Interview clients to obtain additional information as queries arise; Preparation of consulting advice in respect of income tax, fringe benefits tax, capital gains tax, and goods and services tax; Overseeing the management of clients, including: Management and analysis of billing, WIP, and debtors; Ensuring that bills are prepared on a timely basis; Lodgement deadlines and prioritising preparation of client work.
Supervision of junior staff, including: Being responsible for the direction of staff in their work duties; Assisting staff with their queries; Review of staff work.
