About the team Our new Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) are an even smarter and easier way to fulfil online orders and deliver smiles for our customers.
Your role, no matter where you are at a CFC, will have a direct contribution to every customer's order.
At the forefront of driving innovation, you'll be part of redefining the customer experience in online grocery shopping.
The first of their kind in Australia, our CFCs help provide customers with improved availability and freshness, a broader produce range, and a seamless digital experience.
About the role In this 6-month fixed term position, you will be responsible as the subject matter expert for providing technical advice and coaching to stakeholders and team members across the OCADO site in relation to transport safety to ensure key objectives are met, including van fleet and safe deliveries to our customers.
You will also:
Have sound knowledge, skill, and experience in health and safety, particularly in critical risk reduction in yard management and on-road traffic management. Have a minimum of 3 years working in an operational FMCG distribution centre, manufacturing, or automated environment. Have a proven record of achieving results and leading change within a fast-paced dynamic environment. Clearly demonstrate the ability to incorporate safety requirements while considering commercially viable and practical solutions. Have proven capability in developing safety plans and strategies that align with business objectives. About you and your skills We're looking for an experienced Transport Safety professional who has experience in a developing environment with the ability to set up processes.
You will also have:
A Safety Degree or Cert IV/related discipline and/or Risk Compliance degree or Cert IV. Experience managing transport regulatory compliance. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities. Exceptional coaching, analytical, and interpersonal skills. The ability to hold self and others accountable to raise transport safety standards. The ability to build relationships and collaborate with a wide range of team members and senior leaders. Effective communication and influencing skills, with strong attention to detail. A proven ability with safety reporting and evaluating compliance to transform insights into frontline safety initiatives to address risk. Experience conducting driver debriefs for cycles of continuous improvement (optional). Take your next step into something bigger.
