Expert within the Senior Leadership Team To lead and own Data Operations and DevOps Modern Data Platforms (Snowflake and Informatica) We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Operations Leader, to join one of our financial services clients.
You will be leading a team responsible for managing and optimising data services.
With expertise in Snowflake, Informatica, and SQL Server, you'll drive stability, implement data quality improvements, and manage incident resolution.
While not from an engineering background, you bring a technical mindset and a collaborative approach to ensure seamless data operations.
Key Responsibilities: Lead data operations, ensuring stability, prioritising enhancements, and resolving complex issues.
Apply DevOps principles to streamline operations, release management, and team collaboration.
Oversee data quality assurance and implement improvements in line with business priorities.
Collaborate across teams to deliver actionable insights and drive operational success in financial services environments.
Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and governance to maintain high service standards.
What we want from you: Expertise in Snowflake, Informatica, and SQL Server is essential.
Strong experience working in the financial services industry, with a focus on data quality and service delivery.
Familiarity with DevOps principles and methodologies.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and align operations with business goals.
A technical mindset, able to adapt quickly and focus on continuous improvement (no Big Data expertise required).
$250k- $300k per annum + 20% bonus.
