Join us and share your ideas, be inspired, give back to the community and feel proud to be a part of an organisation doing meaningful work that matters while supporting sustainability, mental health, and well-being.About the roleNegotiate, recommend, and monitor service levels between business/product owners and outsourced service providers to ensure services are delivered to a prescribed quality and agreed timeframe, supporting a robust financial reporting process.Design and execute effective and efficient controls to mitigate outsourcing and related IT/data risks so that the function operates within risk appetite and complies with risk and outsourcing policies.Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks and control mechanisms to oversee the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounting operations.Manage change processes that support continuous improvement in the service delivery model, including process and control improvement initiatives, changes to service levels, catalogues, system enhancements and service providers.Ensure actual or emerging risks and issues are proactively identified, communicated and appropriately managed.About youTertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA).Extensive experience in a financial control and assurance function with reporting responsibilities.Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to apply Australian accounting and other relevant industry standards.Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision making.Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, presentation, reporting and communication tools.Proven capability to manage change through the initiation and promotion of organisational transformation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Benefits and perksInclusive Culture: Join a supportive, open-minded team focused on customer outcomes, bringing your authentic self to work every dayFlexible Work-Life Balance: Enjoy flexible and remote work options and workplace adjustments, with support for your work/life balance.Career Development: Access mentoring, development and global mobility opportunities for growth and success, including access to over 10,000 learning resources.Financial and Well-being Perks: Enjoy discounts on Allianz products, retail, tech, and travel, plus financial wellness initiatives and the Employee Share Purchase Program - own a piece of your employerAbout our cultureWe care about everything that makes you, you.
