We are looking to bring on an Agile Project Manager & Scrum Master to join our national team.
As part of our team, you will be exposed to and supported on projects where you can put your professional mark while taking on new and exciting challenges.
Responsibilities: Act as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Lead for multiple teams working on AI & Data Science, Data Analytics and Data Governance projects.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client requirements and expectations.
Monitor project financials, including budget and resource allocation, to ensure cost-effective delivery.
Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality AI and data-driven projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Work closely with leadership to provide strategic input on project priorities and resource management.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies to ensure the team is aligned with agile principles.
Oversee project management activities including scope, timelines, budget, and resource planning, while ensuring the teams stay on track to deliver high-quality solutions.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project goals, maintain a prioritised project backlog, and manage expectations.
Identify and remove impediments or blockers that slow down progress, and work with the team to continuously improve processes and delivery speed.
Ensure effective communication with clients, including regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
Track and report key performance metrics, ensuring the team meets sprint goals and overall project objectives.
Help the team maintain a high level of collaboration, self-organisation, and accountability.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation within the teams.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Project Manager, ideally in a data, AI, or technology-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile methodologies, as well as project management practices.
Project Management certification (Agile PM, PRINCE2, or similar) is favourable.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in agile tools such as JIRA, Azure Dev Ops and other similar tools.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have: Experience managing AI/ML, data science, or data engineering projects.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud etc.)
and their use in data/AI projects.
Experience with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, Le SS) and understanding of Dev Ops practices.
Consulting experience or a background working with external clients.
