THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for the overall management and optimisation of maintenance operations at the Port Gregory and Geraldton Dry plant facilities.
This will involve overseeing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and mobile equipment maintenance, including shutdown planning, weekly maintenance schedules, and capital projects.
The role will also require managing the Reliability Engineering function to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimise downtime.
ESSENTIAL / DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:
Mechanical or Electrical Trade Background Engineering Degree is desirable.
SKILLS AND SELECTION CRITERIA | ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role Knowledge and expertise of scheduling practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to maintenance planning and execution Must be highly motivated with a proven record of safety, good work ethic and a team player Substantial knowledge and experience utilising computer programs including Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work effectively with team/work groups or those outside formal line of authority (i.e.
peers, other departments) Financial acumen.
