A tier 1 Electrical contractor, with offices in every state, and a long legacy in the market for taking on major projects, seeking a BIM professional.

The Company
This electrical contractor, and multi-services business, has seen continuous success over the past 30+ years, moving from a smaller-scale contractor to a major player (if not the number one player) in the Australian market.

Involved in electrical projects from $500k to upwards of $20 million+ within the commercial, institutional and industrial sectors, and have recently expanded their premises to accommodate growth.

Despite their size, this award-winning contractor retains a family feel, with a real focus on their staff inside and outside of work.
They have access to all the best systems and software, and have a culture based on progression, recognition and sustainability.

This business does things right and is known for it; be that with your career (reviews, pay rises, reward and recognition) or with how they deal with their clients, builders, subbies and suppliers.

The Role
As part of the Drafting and Engineering team, you will work closely with the BIM Lead, and Engineers in producing designs and shop drawings using your strong experience in REVIT MEP, and your ability to work with all internal and external stakeholders involved in the job.

Drawings will be based on high level engineering designs and will be optimized through ongoing coordination meetings with the builder and other building services contractors to address clash detection issues, and to ensure project flow.

Your role would be project specific, leading your jobs through initial design stages, to variations, to completion and handover.

Requirements
It is imperative that all applicants have sound working knowledge of REVIT MEP.
Applicants must have been using REVIT MEP on electrical projects in an Australian setting for at least 3 years, preferably more.
Understanding of Australian standards is essential.
Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Ability to attend and retain important project information collated from ongoing meetings.
