They have undergone a strong period of growth and have successfully expanded to all the major states in Australia, growing both organically and through acquisitions.This is an exceptional opportunity for an Audit/Business Services first mover, or industry Accountant, looking to join a leading high-growth PE portfolio company.The ChallengeReporting into the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assetsSupport the finance team in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial data and analysisAssist with internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiriesPrepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, FBT, and other statutory filingsAssist in year-end tax calculations and liaise with external auditorsIdentify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracyThe ExpertiseTo be successful in this role, you will possess the following:CA/CPA qualified, or studying towards3+ years of experience within Audit, Business Services, or a comparable Accountant roleIt is preferable that you have prior experience in FMCGYou will have a strong interpersonal skill-set and be able to meet tight deadlinesThe Next StepIf this position will enhance your career and you would like further details on the client, the role, remuneration or a copy of the position description, please contact Juhi Mishra for a confidential discussion on 0408 701 219.Or alternatively, please apply per the link below.ThompsonCook | The accounting search firm trusted by Australia's leading businesses | Focused on Sydney & Melbourne
