We have an exciting opportunity for Claims Services Officer to join our NSW Workers Compensation Team in Sydney.
This is a 6-month opportunity with a start date 27th January 2025. The successful candidate will provide support to the Personal Injury Claims teams through the execution of business support and customer service functions. Position Overview: Job Title: Claims Services Officer - NSW Workers CompensationLocation: 10 Shelley Street, Sydney 2000Salary: Pay Band 2Work Arrangement: Hybrid role with mix of Work from Home and in Office.Shift Patterns: Full-time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to FridayThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a friendly and busy team environment and would like to enhance their career with a well-respected division of Suncorp.
What you'll do Lodge Personal Injury claimsInvestigate, gather and follow-up additional information to complete the lodgement for ClaimsValidate claim details for lodgement, and refer to business partnersManage complex escalations from business partnersPrepare, proof and despatch outbound correspondence in support of claim lodgement and managementManage the request, receipt and dispatch of claim informationWhat you'll bring Attention to detail – accurately checking and processing tasks and showing concern for all aspects of the roleChange management – ability to recognise, understand and support need for change and anticipated impact on both the team and selfDecisiveness – ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner and determine what decisions should be referred for leader considerationPlanning and organisation skills – establishing a process to complete tasks (either personal or for others) and allocating appropriate resources in achievement of sameProblem solving – ability to quickly grasp information and/or seek out information, break down problems and situations into simple lists of components, options or alternativesTime Management – ability to implement the necessary tools and techniques to effectively balance and manage prioritiesWhat we can offer you Suncorp's employee benefits are designed to support, empower and reward our people.
