A fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven Coordinator who wants to make a positive impact to at-risk youths in our community in our Passages Perth team. About UsPassages Youth Engagement Hubs (PYEH) provide support to young people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness at both our Perth and Mandurah facilities.
The Hubs provide support through essential needs advocacy, information, referrals, workshops, a range of visiting specialist services and the capacity to provide follow up.
Our dedicated staff work closely with young people using principles of empowerment to pursue their goals, interests and rights, and having confidence in their capacity to make decisions about their own future.
To learn more about our service, please visit Passages Youth Engagement Hub. About the RoleOur Coordinators take a leadership role in supporting staff, clients and students in managing the efficient day to day operations of the services provided by Passages Youth Engagement Hubs (Perth and Peel).
The Coordinator, Passages (Perth) will ensure quality outcome service delivery which works within the low threshold and change, therapeutic crisis intervention and trauma informed practice models.

To succeed in this position, you will have:
Significant experience working with people with complex needs including mental health, disability, homelessness, substance use and/or financial disadvantageHigh level understanding of trauma informed practice and the youth work code of ethics, and ability to embed into service deliveryDemonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with a range of stakeholdersTertiary qualifications in a relevant field or extensive relevant experience complemented by quality in-service trainingPrior experience in a leadership role and management of people and service delivery.Demonstrated ability to operate as an effective team member, with highly developed conflict resolution and interpersonal skillsWorking for Vinnies WAOur values are at the heart of our Society, anyone who comes into contact with us is better for it, our employees are supported to grow and nurture their capacity for leadership and resilience and hold mission at our core.
