The position involves: Diversity - We promise you won't get boredInstall, repairs, and maintenance of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Ventilation, and general HVAC equipment and associated services.Assist in general electrical repairs and maintenance if required.New Builds, Fit outs, renovations, upgrades, retrofits & modernization.Working on Electrical, HVAC & Refrigeration equipment including small domestic scale to large commercial plant.Working with Control Systems.High Level of Customer Focus, solutions-based service & communication.Working autonomously but also within a team environment.Opportunities to learn and upskill in these areas of work.Customers we commonly work with: Hospitality - Pubs, Clubs & Restaurants.Education - Schools and child cares.Medical & Specialist Centres.Industrial - Manufacturing and warehousing.Residential - Motels, Apartments, Housing.Builders and Developers.What are we looking for in a candidate? Solutions BasedStrong Communication Skills - Both verbal and written with effective record keeping and administrative skills.Confident, well-organized, who demonstrates strong initiative & self-motivation.Exceptional customer service focus with outstanding presentation, interpersonal skills, and relationship-building skills.Relevant experience as a qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic.Electrical knowledge and/or qualifications would be an advantage, but not necessary.Ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment.Capable of mentoring and developing younger technicians.Safety conscious in any work conditions.Well-presented attire, with neat & tidy presentation of self, vehicle & work.Punctual with excellent time management skills.Willingness to learn and develop.Qualifications Needed or Recommended Current ARC Licence.Current Qld Restricted Electrical Licence.QBCC Licence.Construction White Card.Valid Qld driver's Licence.Up-to-date CPR/low voltage rescue.EWP Licence.Impress us with any other qualificationsWhat we are offering Bonus Incentives with commitment to the role.A Diverse range of work, opportunities, and customers.This is a full-time position Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime if you want it because we work to live, not live to work.Company Vehicle (or Vehicle allowance depending on vehicle will be considered).Phone/Data allowance and uniforms.Fair and equal exchange in Hourly rate being negotiable, dependent on the successful applicant's level of expertise and their ability to add value to our company.An opportunity to become an integral member of the team and join us on our Mission to become Industry leaders in customer service.Please note that only applicants meeting the criteria outlined above will be contacted as part of the short-listing process.
