About the role Our client is looking for experienced Carpenter and Labourer who pride themselves on their workmanship and who wants to be a part of a company that truly cares about being the best in the business.
They are looking for people who will be in it for the long haul who are committed and do not require constant supervision.
Additionally, we are looking to bring on a Labourer to work alongside our new Carpenter.
Tasks & Responsibilities The company culture mirrors the owner's personality.
It's down to earth but has a really strong work ethic.
The team works hard and does not allow corners to be cut and quality to be diminished to save a few bucks.
The Company culture is based on high quality work.
They feel that family comes first so if you have commitments such as footy training with the kids, there is no need to miss out.
Our local client is in a significant growth mode with contracts with many large projects in Canberra.
They are known for treating their people well and providing further career opportunities.
They have a number of trades that have been with them since their start-up 9 years ago.
Specialising in Residential, light commercial, government, maintenance & trade work, you can progress into a Senior / Supervisor and Project Management role.
Skills & Experience To be successful in this role you will need to be a trade qualified Carpenter.
We are also hiring a Labourer.
As our Carpenter, you will have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a carpenter.
You will need to have your own basic tools and OH&S white card.
You will pride yourself on the quality of work you do and want to work for the best.
Non-basic tools can be jointly purchased between you and the employer.
Benefits & Perks Working hours being between 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
You would be tech savvy and capable of using an iPhone and iPad to communicate work progress.
Roster: Monday to Friday 38 hours per week - paid overtime if you want it.
The main thing that separates this opportunity from the rest is the company bonus structure.
Every employee from the Apprentice to the Project Manager takes a bonus from each profitable job.
