Join Our Team: Development Officer (Soccer) Wanted About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Development Officer (Soccer) to join our passionate team at Country Coastal Junior Soccer Association in Bunbury, Western Australia.
This full-time role will be responsible for driving the growth and development of soccer programs across our local community and also develop players, coaches and young referees (from beginners to advanced) in a fun, supportive environment.
What you'll be doing Conceive, design, build, plan, run and improve our soccer programs via education and training sessions that promote knowledge transfer, skill development, teamwork, fitness, and love of the game.Provide individualized coaching to help players, coaches and young referees improve their techniques and understanding of the game.Create a fun and inclusive environment for players of all ages and backgrounds.Lead teams during matches fostering a positive and competitive spirit.Establish rapport and maintain communication with players and their families regarding progress and team events.Liaising with local schools, clubs, and community groups to promote soccer participation.Monitoring participation levels and evaluating program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.Ensuring all activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner.What we're looking for Minimum "C" License in CoachingPrevious experience in a similar soccer development or coaching roleStrong knowledge of soccer rules, techniques and tactics.Excellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to motivate and inspire athletes, coaches and young referees of all skill levelsWork independently as well as collaboratively within a teamValid Working with Children CheckFirst Aid CertificatePolice Check (or willing to get one)Why Join Us?Opportunity to make a positive impact on the next generation of soccer players and referees.Join an organisation that delivers a wide range of activities intent on providing positive experiences for all participants.Be part of a collaborative and energetic team environment.Competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.What we offer
