Option 1: Heavy Vehicle MechanicJoin a trusted industry leader and carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment.
This role is suited to experienced mechanics who take pride in their work and can maintain high standards of safety and performance.
Responsibilities: Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.Diagnose and rectify defects following internal procedures.Collaborate with the Workshop Foreman to manage parts, resources, and priorities.Supervise and mentor apprentices.Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, including work detail sheets and timesheets.Maintain a clean and professional workspace, adhering to safety and company policies.Work overtime as required to ensure vehicles are operational.What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices.Team player with excellent communication skills.Ability to follow procedures and complete accurate documentation.Option 2: Diesel Service TechnicianBe part of one of South Australia's largest welding distribution businesses.
This role focuses on the maintenance and service of engine-driven welding equipment and generators, ensuring equipment is performing at its best.
Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in engine-driven welders and generators.Perform maintenance tasks, including servicing and rebuilding components.Manage the service parts store and order specialty repair parts.Maintain detailed service and repair records using company software.Collaborate with the maintenance team to overcome equipment-related challenges.Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.About You: Qualified Diesel Mechanic or Dual Trade Electrician.Minimum of 5 years' industry experience with diesel machinery, generators, or engine drives.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Commitment to accurate documentation and safety compliance.Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.Proficiency in basic computer programs and technical schematics.What's on Offer: Stable, full-time roles with leading organizations.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Both roles are based in Wingfield, SA.
