Senior Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a dynamic team of finance professionals in a leading investment and advisory group. This role offers an attractive salary package of $120k-140k + Super, based in the vibrant Sydney CBD. The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides financial reporting services across Australia and New Zealand, including regulatory reporting, board reporting, management reporting and tax reporting.What you'll do:Manage reporting for Australasian financial entitiesHandle Corporate Finance product accountingProvide insightful analysis of financial information for local finance and business functionsSupport the financial controller in areas such as budgeting & forecasting, business structuring, funding and cash flow planning, deal structuringPerform regulatory reporting calculations and collaborate with the financial controller to ensure continued regulatory complianceProvide support for ad hoc projectsCollaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver business partnering outcomesOversee indirect and direct tax returnsWhat you bring:Strong analytical skills with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvementExcellent communication skills with a proven track record of problem-solving and critical thinkingRelevant tertiary qualification, preferably with CA, CPA or CFA in additionKnowledge and understanding of investment banking products and services3 years + experience, preferably within banking / financial institutionsExcellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesWhat sets this company apart:This company is renowned for its dynamic, responsive and flexible approach which makes it a trusted partner for institutional, corporate, or private investors alike.
