$145,378 to $168,130 plus super and leave loadingJoin us in driving impactful change by transforming the NSW electricity systemApply your Procurement skills to play a key role in the transition of the NSW Electricity systems towards Renewable Energy.Temporary fulltime role up to 4 years at 35 hours per week plus FlexTimeSydney or Newcastle LocationHybrid working from home and office supportedSalary range from $145,378 to $168,130 plus super and leave loadingEnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.About the OpportunityOur EnergyCo NSW Project Procurement team is currently seeking to appoint a Principal Procurement Advisor to provide specialist advice and support to EnergyCo project delivery teams on complex high value procurement and contracting activities.The role operates in a matrix style model, partnering closely with Project Directors and their teams to ensure that procurement strategies and plans are developed and implemented in accordance with government and EnergyCo policy and support the successful delivery of programs and projects.About YouThe successful applicant is an experienced procurement professional with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, who is adept at working with diverse project teams.
You will excel at understanding project requirements and translating them into actionable procurement strategies and policy advice, applying your commercial acumen.
Resilient and adaptable, you will be someone who guides teams through complex procurement processes while building solid relationships with stakeholders.
You will thrive in a small, close-knit team environment, bringing a sense of humour and collaboration to every day at work.In this role, you will focus on developing procurement strategies that drive innovation and deliver value-for-money outcomes for EnergyCo's priority projects whilst partnering closely with the Project Delivery teams to manage complex procurement and contract activities, ensuring optimal outcomes through robust policies, frameworks, and contract performance management.
