Senior Commercial Building Surveyor

Our client is accredited with the NSW Government as a Building Certifier and Principal Certifying Authority.
They offer a fresh approach to certification and consulting services, with an innovative team of Accredited Building Certifiers who work hard to provide outstanding levels of service to their clients.
THE ROLE
Due to recent growth, an opportunity has arisen for a building certifier/surveyor to come on board.
Ideally, you will be accredited or have building surveying experience.
The role will involve working on a range of Class 2 to Class 9 commercial, retail, industrial, and government projects across NSW, in collaboration with our clients.
You'll perform inspections, assessments, approvals, and certifications of building developments in the office and on the road, planning your own workload and developing innovative solutions to challenging problems along the way.
ABOUT YOU
Currently registered as a building surveyor in NSW preferred but not essential.
Knowledge and understanding of the Building Code of Australia and relevant legislation.
Ability to learn new software and streamlined methodologies.
A positive attitude with excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to use problem-solving skills to create innovative solutions for clients.
TAFE or university qualifications in building surveying or construction management.
Practical experience in building surveying and the construction industry.
A valid driver's licence.
