What do we do? Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. Systems can be tailored to meet a variety of requirements for bandwidth, dynamic range, number of channels, and computational resources. Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and submarines. Azure also offers innovative signal processing solutions to challenging problems in the realm of radio frequency spectrum awareness.
What will you do? Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, FL, facility. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:
Responsibilities for this job may include: Assembly and integration of complex component and system level electronic assembliesCable routing, hardware installation and the completion of associated documentationDrawing interpretation and wire diagram comprehensionAble to work independently and as part of a team, take initiative and work well with internal and external customersBasic Requirements US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirementAbility to obtain a SECRET security clearance, due to contract requirementMinimum 1-year hands-on manufacturing experience in an assembly or integration environmentAbility to lift and carry 25-45 lbsQualifications 5 years of electronics or aerospace manufacturing experienceExperience with hand solderingIPC-620 certificationJ-STD certificationExperience in an ESD and FOD controlled environmentAbility to read and comprehend drawings, specifications, and work instructionsDetail oriented and able to independently execute tasksAzure Summit Technology is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
