Sapura Energy Australia (SEA), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian based Sapura Energy Berhad, is a leading offshore oil and gas subsea contractor with more than 30 years of track record in the offshore construction market.
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team.
This permanent, full-time position is based in the Perth CBD.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative projects that contribute to the continued growth and success of our company.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Lead the preparation, development, and submission of high-quality, competitive tenders in response to client requirementsPrepare and deliver compelling presentations to clientsSafe and efficient execution of projects in line with client requirements and expectationsEnsure work implementation meets Sapura Energy's Management, Health, Safety, Environment & Quality SystemsDevelop procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and/or decommissioning engineering documentation (scopes of work, calculations, drawings, sketches, procedures etc.)
in compliance with client requirements and specificationsComplete purchasing and procurement processes for project related equipment/subcontract packages including development of scopes of work, evaluation of proposals and implementation of terms of contract throughout delivery and executionIdentify all material, installation aids and services (including relevant sub-contractors) required to perform the workDeliver operational and technical execution offshore which includes mobilisation and demobilisation activitiesPerform as the technical authority for the delivery of assigned scopes of workSupport the Offshore Construction Manager as the technical authority for work scope executionAbout You Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (or similar)10+ years' experience of preparation, engineering and offshore project execution particularly in development (and/or decommissioning) of SURF, mooring systems, rigid pipeline spools and subsea structures related subsea projectsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently deliver oral presentationsExperience with saturation and air diving operationsExperience in operations involving ROV subsea tooling and vessel positioning equipmentSapura Energy Australia ensures equal employment opportunity for all its employees and applicants for employment and encourages Indigenous Australians to apply.
