About The Role:
As the Assistant Village Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our camp.
Acting as the alternate to the Village Manager, you will be in charge when required and oversee the village staff and day-to-day activities.
Your responsibilities include:
Operational Oversight:
Managing key allocation and maintaining detailed records of room assignments and guest stays.
Addressing guest queries, concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for all residents.
Monitoring and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the camp.
Team Coordination:
Creating and managing cleaning rosters for daily task allocation.
Inspecting rooms and common areas to ensure quality and cleanliness.
Leading and supporting the village team, providing clear direction and feedback.
Administrative Duties:
Keeping accurate records of occupancy, maintenance requests, and operational reports.
Collaborating with the Village Manager on workforce scheduling and compliance.
Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of services.
Leadership:
Acting as the primary point of contact on-site in the Village Manager's absence.
Promoting a culture of safety and respect in alignment with company values.
Qualifications & Experience:
2-3 years' experience in village or hospitality management, ideally in FIFO or remote settings.
Skilled at managing teams and resolving issues in a positive, proactive way.
Organized and detail-oriented with strong administrative skills.
Committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards.
Knowledgeable about workplace health and safety practices.
