About the role
Temporary part-time opportunity to:
Provide Specialist geriatric clinical services and medical leadership in the Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services RBWH / STARS.Supervise and educate undergraduates and postgraduates in the service.Leadership of multidisciplinary teams involved in the care of patients who are under the responsibility of this position.Actively participate in quality assurance and continuing education.Initiate or assist with the establishment of new services and participate in the implementation and evaluation of new and existing services.Initiate and assist with new research projects in Geriatric medicine.About you

Proven high-level communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability and experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.Demonstrated ability to initiate, foster and supervise research programs in the service.Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.Health Equity
