Accounts Payable Specialist

Support the Accounts Payable function Zip is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance Team, reporting directly to the Manager, ANZ Finance Operations.
This role will suit someone who is looking for exposure to a dynamic industry, who is keen to make an impact, and passionate about process improvement.

Interesting problems you'll get to solve: Review and process incoming invoices, ensuring they are accurately recorded in AP/accounting systems with correct GST coding. Process weekly Accounts Payable batches and distribute remittances. Assist and/or administer and process employee expense reimbursements and employee expense systems, as required. Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures. Contribute to monthly BAS review process including partnering with the tax team. Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues. Assist with cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations. Assist the broader Finance team with ad hoc queries. What you'll bring to the team: At least 2-4 years experience in an AP specialist capacity. Experience as a system administrator for AP and expense management systems. Intermediate level Excel skills. Experience in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills.
