About the Role...
Due to rapid expansion, Stowe Australia is seeking a motivated individual to join our Sydney Construction Team.
This role offers growth and progression with long-term employment opportunities.
The position requires effective management of resources to ensure satisfactory project delivery while adhering to deadlines and financial targets.
Candidates must possess excellent contractual and technical skills, the ability to interpret works contracts, specifications, drawings, technical information, problem-solving, production control, reporting, and strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
The Contract Administrator is also expected to promote Stowe Australia's capabilities and best interests to employees, sub-contractors, suppliers, and clients.
As a Senior Electrical Estimator / Electrical Contracts Administrator, you will have the following minimum responsibilities:
Sound Tier 1 Estimating experience Administration of the works contract, all notices, and correspondence Understanding of Stowe's contractual obligations Understanding of Stowe's scope of works and Project Specifications Prepare, update, and maintain Stowe's installation programme Monitor both Stowe and Client programmes and submit notices as required Negotiate and settle variations with the client Project documentation review for client requirements and compliance Development of financial budgets and forecast reports Establish the project financial budget and production control framework Perform cost-benefit analysis on material and labour options Maintain customer relationships Preparation of suppliers and subcontractor's contracts Ensure all suppliers/subcontractors return signed contracts Receive verbal or written instruction of required work Develop quotations/variations for submission to clients Commitment to company profitability and continuous improvement SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Current Open Electrical License OHS Cert IV (preferred) Cablers Licence (preferred) Construction Industry General Safety Induction Drivers Licence WORK EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated experience in the electrical & communications contracting industry Demonstrated experience in Project Management of electrical & communications projects Demonstrated advanced Production Control & Reporting Ability to discharge company policies and procedures SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrated experience in Project Management Well-developed Time Management & Prioritisation abilities Communication – interpersonal & organisational Intermediate to advanced PC skills including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project & MS Outlook Team Building Sound Management of Contractual Processes and Documentation Sales and Relationship Building Skills BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
