Job OverviewThis is a fixed term, full-time position for 12 months.
You will take a leading role in our organization, joining a fast-growing team of sustainability experts at thinkstep-anz, a locally-owned B Corp business with an approved Science Based Target.
You can be based in one of our offices in Pukerua Bay (Wellington), Auckland, or Sydney.
Other locations in New Zealand or Australia or remote working will be considered for the right candidate.
Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProvide oversight, analytical insight, and technical review of LCA and EPD projectsProvide technical guidance to the teamManage and deliver projects with a particular focus on LCAManage key accounts in New Zealand, Australia, and globallyProvide thought-leadershipWrite and review project reports, executive summaries, and presentationsDevelop bespoke impact reporting projects and solutions for clients at all stages of their sustainability journeyWork closely with the strategy, circular economy, and carbon teams in New Zealand and Australia to deliver integrated solutionsTranslate delivered projects into tangible business outcomes for clientsQuality assurance of LCA and EPD projectsEnsure your projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and qualitySkills and ExperienceExcellent experience in LCA methodology and standards across different industriesProven understanding of environmental and sustainability topicsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsProven experience in guiding a team and providing technical mentoringMaster in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelProven understanding of the need for data integrityProven ability to maintain discretion and confidentialityProven ability to take responsibility and to show initiativeResilient and proven ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environmentStrong attention to detail and good follow-throughProficiency in English language communication skills, and strong numeracy skills8+ years of relevant work experienceHave a relevant University degree in engineering, environmental science, or a similar disciplineWhy thinkstep-anz?At thinkstep-anz, we help to make a tangible difference to society while adding value to our client's business.
