In this endeavor, your assistance becomes invaluable – together, let's create a more sustainable world.Job DescriptionThe Head of Growth is responsible for driving customer and revenue growth through business development, marketing, and partnerships.
They create and manage growth opportunities through enhancing Avani's market awareness and reputation, opening doors to new business, and forging strategic partnerships that unlock new channels to market and capabilities.As a key member of Avani's leadership team, your responsibilities will include:Developing an integrated Growth strategy across business development, marketing, and partnershipsManaging end to end Growth funnel from lead generation, through the business development process, through to customer portfolio expansion opportunities – leveraging the leadership team and Board for key relationships and business development activities, and guiding direct team members (marketing, business development and advocacy) in defining and achieving prioritiesBringing customer, competitor and market insights into the product development process through customer empathy, data-led experimentation and market intelligenceCreating a framework for strategic partnerships that can be applied across the Avani business.
Collaborating across the team to drive relationships and opportunities with strategic partners including Data (e.g.
Open Energy data), Distribution (channels to market) and Delivery (building connectivity and servicing), in Australia first, with an eye to global partnership opportunitiesContributing to Avani's overall business strategy, priorities and culture developmentKPIs include:Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from new contracts or upgradesCustomer satisfaction (NPS or similar)Brand awareness and engagement as measured by database of marketing contacts, attendance at events / webinars, subscribers to blogs, and social interactionsStrategic partners engaged and performance of partnership KPIsAbout youYou will bring your commercial acumen and cross-functional leadership experience in a fast-moving technological environment, demonstrating the ability to engage across the full scope of the business while having deep expertise in business development, marketing, and partnerships.You are a strong communicator with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
